Arrow Electrical completed a full electrical installation for the new W/C facilities at Eastgate Square Shopping Centre in Chester. The project formed part of a wider refurbishment and development programme within the shopping centre. Our team installed new lighting, power outlets, CCTV infrastructure and emergency lighting throughout the facility. We also installed cable tray systems and supply cabling to support the new electrical installation and ensure a safe, reliable power distribution network.

Planning

Our team carefully planned the project before work began to ensure a smooth installation within the two-week programme. Following a detailed site survey, we identified the most efficient routes for cable containment and supply cabling. We also coordinated closely with the client and other contractors working on the development to ensure all trades could complete their work safely and on schedule. This proactive approach allowed us to maintain progress and minimise disruption throughout the installation.

The challenge

The project required multiple electrical systems to be installed within a tight two-week timeframe. Our engineers needed to coordinate lighting, power, CCTV and emergency lighting installations while working alongside other trades involved in the wider refurbishment. The team also needed to ensure all systems met the required safety standards and provided reliable performance for a high-traffic public environment. Through careful planning and effective communication, we maintained progress and delivered each stage of the installation on schedule.

Solution

Arrow Electrical delivered a complete electrical package for the new W/C facilities. Our engineers installed new lighting to provide safe and comfortable illumination throughout the area. We also fitted power outlets, emergency lighting and CCTV infrastructure to support the day-to-day operation and safety of the facility. To support the installation, our team fitted new cable tray systems and installed supply cabling throughout the project. This provided organised cable management and a reliable electrical infrastructure for all services.

Our engineers completed the project within the planned two-week programme and delivered all works on schedule. The new facilities now benefit from modern lighting, reliable power distribution, enhanced security through CCTV coverage and fully compliant emergency lighting systems.
